Table centrepieces are a key element of your wedding decorations. Its important to create a wow factor and a great impression for your guests. You should also keep in mind your style and the vibe you would like to create.

Is your wedding theme – romantic elegance, rustic charm , bright and summery, antique vintage or modern contemporary ?

Start with the the shape of the tables in mind.  Round tables suit a centred arrangement , a clustered vase arrangement or several vases clustered and centred. If you would like a tall centred arrangement, make sure it is tall enough to allow guests to see around and converse easily.

A long rectangular table lends itself to several vases dotted down the centre or a long garland of greenery and flowers trailing through the centre.

Bare in mind you don’t want your arrangements to be too small and insignificant, but at the same time not too large that they block the guests view.

They need to look good on every angle and add visual impact to your reception tables. Steer clear of flowers with strong scents as some guests may have sensitive noses!

Choose colours to link to your theme. A rustic look may include interesting foliages , nuts and berries. And a romantic theme could include old world charming roses in soft muted tones.

You could also consider adding candles to your tables for  soft lighting and a romantic feel.

Whatever you choose, make sure it portrays the mood, theme and colour you would like for your wedding day that will leave a lasting impression to you and your guests.
